Hello, my name is Lynne Shaw and welcome to Golden Touch Training! As a student of canine behavior since childhood,
interactions between dogs and their environment have always intrigued me. I was the child who brought home all of the stray
or injured animals.
My interest continued through college where I pursued a career in veterinary technology. My horizons continued
to expand and I became an active member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Shortly thereafter I became a Certified Pet
Dog Trainer.
In addition to practicing as a Veterinary Technician, I also have a Bachelor of Science degree. My post graduate studies
emphasized Pharmacology and Psychology. I am a field trainer for Paws with a Cause, a service dog organization for the disabled,
assisting the disabled with their service or companion dog. Continuing education requirements keep me on top of the latest
techniques and tools for basic training and behavior modification.
